Governess, The

After the murder of her father leaves the family penniless, Rosina da Silva assumes a new identity as a governess. She leaves behind her privileged life in London and heads for the Scottish Isle of Skye and the home of the Cavendish family. The head of the household, Charles Cavendish is cold and unwelcoming and obsessed by his work. But he is soon seduced by Rosina's sensuous beauty and the two begin a passionate affair.
