Superman - The Movie

Before the destruction of Krypton, Jor-El sends his baby son to Earth, where he develops superhuman powers. Working as mild-mannered reporter Clark Kent, he hides his secret identity until challenged by arch-enemy Lex Luthor. The Marvel Comics hero leaps to the screen in the muscular form of Reeve who beat Redford, Stallone and Eastwood to win the role of his life.
